Ecocem Ireland wishes to congratulate a number of our clients on their nominations and successes at the recent Irish Concrete Society Awards.

We would like to congratulate our first client, O’Reilly Concrete Ltd for being nominated in the Building Category at the 39th Annual Irish Concrete Society Awards.

O’Reilly Concrete Ltd worked alongside Purcell Construction, to design, manufacture, and supply the entire precast frame for the National Train Control Centre at Dublin’s Heuston Station.

The new 5-storey building, with a partial basement, is situated within the railway yard of Heuston Station and is the National Signalling Control Centre for Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail. O’Reilly Concrete also supplied precast floors, walls, stairs, columns, and beams for this project.

Our second client   was nominated for their project “Northgate End MSCP” in the International Award category at the Irish Concrete Society Awards.

On behalf of their client, Real Group, the Concast Precast Group technical team produced outstanding precast units for 550 car spaces at Northgate End, Bishop’s Stortford (pictured).

Our final client with success at the awards was Kilsaran who were the worthy winners in the ‘Building Category’.

Their award-winning project, University College Cork Student Hub, won in the Building Category. Kilsaran received seven other outstanding nominations across all three categories of the award, each of which included Ecocem GGBS pictured below.

70 St. Stephens Green, Cardiff Lane, One South County, Frascati Gardens, Touche Cove, National Forensic, Mental Health Service Hospital, and Sir William Henry Bragg Building were among the projects nominated.

Congratulations to the entire Kilsaran team, as well as their project partners, on this fantastic accomplishment.
